A Snake’s Love

I have been, I have seen, I have felt the way she’s feeling now.

Special and unique, is the only one.

That’s what you tell her, whisper in her ears,

And she, young and innocent, doesn’t see the snakes tongue,

Slipping in and out of your mouth as her back is turned.

Sucking the life, the very soul out of another innocent,

She’s just like many before, blinded by the love,

The love you give them, the lies you give them.

And soon, she will have been, have seen, have felt the same I am feeling now,

Just to go on and watch your vicious cycle.

Your love is a lie; you sit and wait, for another helpless victim,

To share your horrible fate of being emotionally alone…
